Whom I Help

I am passionate about providing therapy to women, men, and couples. The individuals I work with spend all their energy on those around them while having no time and space for themselves.

Some individuals I work with struggle with knowing what it means to prioritize themselves in their own lives, while others often play the constant role of the caretaker, responsible one, or protector to those they love. Many of my clients need support in navigating family responsibilities, career pressures, racial identities, and relationship desires/issues all at once.

At the beginning of our work together, individuals often feel lost and unsure of what support they need or where to start their therapeutic journey. All they know is they aren’t satisfied with their lives, and there’s something off they can’t quite identify.

How I Help

I anchor my work in an insight-oriented approach that pulls from the frameworks of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Psychodynamic Theory. I’m also trained in somatic (body-oriented) techniques, dream interpretation, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I’ve worked with individuals and couples on various challenges, such as anxiety, imposter syndrome, fear of failure, financial stress, aging, low self–esteem, relationship issues, communication issues, family dynamics, grief/loss, racial trauma, childhood trauma, PTSD, career stress, and existential crises.

What Helping Looks Like

When you come to sessions with me, we’ll work together to explore the emotions you’re feeling, the thought patterns that may be holding you back, and how your life journey has impacted you so far.

I’ll support and guide you to understand why you feel like something is missing in your life and what you desire to change.

In this process, individuals start to awaken to their ability to create meaningful change in their lives. This includes deepening their relationships, loving and respecting themselves, and practicing mindful/spiritual alignment.
