My Passion

I believe therapy is a space for you to get curious about yourself, something we often lose sight of over the course of life’s many challenges and complexities. Deep, attentive listening creates a safe space for you to explore your unfiltered thoughts and feelings without judgment. I am passionate about working with you to learn more about yourself and the kind of person you want to be and build a life that is meaningful, engaged, and satisfying.

My Approach

My style is warm, collaborative, and interactive. I see myself as an exploration partner and guide in getting to know your inner experience and patterns of behavior. From a place of deeper understanding and awareness, we will work together to experiment with different ways of responding to difficult thoughts, feelings, and situations and make changes that are aligned with your values. My practice is grounded in cognitive and behavioral therapies (CBT, DBT, and ACT), attachment theory, the science of well-being, and mindfulness and self-compassion practices.

How I Help

I am passionate about working with individuals navigating significant life transitions such as graduating from college and adjusting to adult life, getting married, becoming a parent for the first time, considering a big career change, or processing an unexpected loss or change in health status of a loved one. I work with clients struggling with a range of issues including rumination and worry, self-doubt and low self-esteem, difficult family dynamics, health anxiety, relationship concerns, self-criticism and perfectionism, people pleasing tendencies, work-related stress, creative ruts, and existential depression.

My Background

I earned a Master of Social Work with a focus on clinical practice from Fordham University. I have completed trainings in CBT, positive psychology, trauma-informed treatment, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. As an experienced meditator and student of Zen Buddhism, I bring a strong passion for mindfulness, contemplative and self-compassion practices into my work.
